During these hard economic times, many folks are having a hard time making ends meet. It's hard enough to put food on the table for your family and some are having to make the difficult plight of not being able to feed their furry family members. We've compiled a list of organizations and programs that will help provide pet food for low income families, helping to keep pets in their loving homes.

Description: ARRF Animal Rescue is focused on the spay/neuter of dogs and cats, fostering, supplying pet food for those in need, reuniting lost and found pets with their owners, humane education and the development of a state of the art animal care facility.

Description: WHS operates a pet food bank for Whatcom County resident’s needing short-term assistance providing pet food for their pets. Food is distributed on a first come, first serve basis Tuesday — Saturday from 10am — 6pm at both shelter locations. WHS distributes pet food at the Bellingham Food Bank on the 3rd Friday of each month starting at noon.
