During these hard economic times, many folks are having a hard time making ends meet. It's hard enough to put food on the table for your family and some are having to make the difficult plight of not being able to feed their furry family members. We've compiled a list of organizations and programs that will help provide pet food for low income families, helping to keep pets in their loving homes.

Description: Not only do they have a Pet Food Assistance Program that provides assistance to pet owners in need, they also have a Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic on property, run an Affordable Wellness Clinic for the public every Saturday and quarterly actually do a clinic that providesf FREE pet vaccinations for the first 1,000 people in line.

Animeals Program: Humane Society of Tampa Bay Volunteers deliver free pet food once a month to homebound and elderly residents on fixed income of Hillsborough County who would otherwise be unable to keep their animal companions.

Description: 501 non profit foundation that provides limited assistance for food and litter to cats and limited food for dogs to help keep them from being owner surrendered due to lack of money to buy them food. We also have assistance for low cost spay and neuter for cats and kittens. We do require that all animals be current on the Stare required Rabies shot and proof of spay or neuter or we will help provide the service for them in order for them to qualify for the assistance program.
